About Tyrone...

Tyrone can easily command everyone's attention while on stage with his talent and humor, but he is actually a little shy in person when you first meet him. He has always loved music, and started playing the string bass in 4th grade before picking up an electric bass in the 10th grade. Tyrone played in a jazz band for about two years until he heard a song that planted a seed. He fell in love with the guitar solo of Chuck Magione's, “Feels So Good.” Ever since hearing that song he had wanted to pick up a guitar, but it wasn't until his 4th year of college at 22 years old that it finally happened.

During his first year of college he took a choir class and until that point he had never sung in front of people. He still says it’s the best class he had ever taken, but he continued his studies in Engineering at the University of Michigan.

It was during Christmas of 2005 that the musical fires were rekindled when Tyrone’s mother bought him a guitar book and bass amp. A few days later Tyrone had bought his first guitar, and within two months he decided music was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life, and begun planning his life accordingly.
